6 Things We Already Know About Glee Season Three

When Glee comes back on Sept. 20, for its third season, some faces will be absent from the halls of McKinley High, and others will be planning their post-graduation exit. We know a few more details from season three, so read up and you’ll know what to expect when the series returns. As an added bonus, we have a few new photos from the show to share as well!

  1. Sam is out. After -, the actor declined to come back at all. At least we’ll be seeing more of Blaine and Mike, because Darren Criss and Harry Shum Jr. were promoted to series regulars (and we’ll also get to meet -).
  2. Mercedes will get a boyfriend. Since Sam is out, the secret relationship between him and Mercedes we saw in the season finale is over too. But she won’t be sad and single: Friday Night Lights alum -.
  3. The Cheerios are getting some old members back. Even though Quinn, Brittany, and Santana quit the Cheerios in defiance of Sue in season two, we can see by - that those two are back in their uniforms. The same can’t be said for Quinn, who looks like she may be more into rebellion this year.
  4. Some of the glee club is graduating. Ryan Murphy confirmed that - at the end of this year — and Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer will be be moving on for good. Season three, he said, will focus on planning what they’ll be doing after high school.
  5. It’ll be lighter on the guest stars. Despite the splash that Gwyneth Paltrow, Britney Spears, and other bold-faced names made in season two, Murphy said that -. I guess - guest stardom on hold.
  6. Will and Emma are heating up again. Emma’s out from under her divorce, so it looks like she and Will are ready to give it another shot in -, where they’re puckering up. Will they actually last for more than a few episodes this time around?

MTV VMAs 2011: Chord Overstreet proves there’s life after ‘Glee’

demi-chord-overstreet-vma.jpgWe have been forbidden from doing an entire post that just repeats the word “squee,” otherwise, that’s what this would be.

Chord Overstreet may not be making sweet music on “Glee” anymore after refusing the producers’ offer to continue on the show as a guest star, but hey… that leaves him more time to look handsome at awards shows, so we’ll get over it. (By the way, we hear that his absence will be explained with a quick mention in the Season 3 premiere about Sam Evans and his family moving to Indiana for financial reasons.)

Overstreet and Demi Lovato presented the award for Best Collaboration to Katy Perry and Kanye West at the MTV VMAs on Sunday night. It’s a good idea for Overstreet to stay in the limelight — after all, he has said that he’s focusing on his solo record.

If, like us, you’re a Chord-o-holic, you can also catch him - of ABC’s “The Middle” this fall.

‘Glee’: Mini Warbler performs ‘Teenage Dream,’ impresses Darren Criss

mini-warbler.jpgCutest. Video. Ever. Seriously, this video is why we love “Glee.”

A video of a young “Glee” fan named Kellan who loves The Warblers (and Blaine Anderson played by Darren Criss) singing and dancing along to their performance of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” was - on YouTube. In unrelated news: We nearly died from a cuteness overdose.

In the video’s description, it says, “Our mini Warbler loves to wear his suit day and night.” Kellan wears the suit in the video (which shows him dancing in front of his TV) and also wears a tie that reaches his knees. Have we mentioned this is the cutest thing ever?

Darren Criss ended up coming across the video and - it to his followers, saying, “I have been replaced. Blaine Anderson, move over… Putting us Warblers to shame, you handsome devil!” We will say it one more time: So. Freaking. Cute.

Forget about celebrity guest stars, Ryan Murphy. Bring Kellan on as Blaine’s younger brother STAT. Watch the video of Kellan performing “Teenage Dream” below:
